Interior Design
I'm interested in designing tailored interiors, from first concept through construction to finished space, or breathing new life into an existing one through adaptive reuse. I work with natural materials chosen deliberately for how they feel and how they age, because I believe our surroundings shape us more than we realize. Making spaces that are genuinely good to be inside, that support and uplift the people who inhabit them, is the work I do.
In design studio settings I have supported installations from start to finish, coordinating with movers, communicating design intent, and ensuring every furniture placement and accessory detail landed exactly as envisioned. During photoshoot preparation, I styled accessories and arranged florals to ensure every detail reflected the intended atmosphere of the space.
Skilled in creating scale furniture models, updating AutoCAD drawings, writing client care guides, lighting and fixture schedules, material curation, schematic design, furniture and finish logistics, and maintaining organized project files so senior designers can stay focused on the work that matters most.
Experienced in coordinating sourcing, requesting CFA's or samples, and managing the logistics of getting the right materials in hand. I have built working relationships with vendors, sales representatives, refinishers, and other trade professionals in the Bay Area, learning how to navigate the network the design industry runs on.
On the creative side, I developed PR schemes drawing from the studio library, envisioning pieces in natural settings, then photographing and editing the compositions in Photoshop.

I graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University, where I studied Art and Art History with a concentration in architecture. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, I spent my senior year oh high school abroad in Rennes, France, and a semester in Copenhagen, Denmark... experiences that inspired my interest in design.
My deepest interest is interiors: the way materials speak to the body, shape mood, and quietly elevate everyday life. I believe good design functions the way great art does. It uplifts. The quality of a space isn't just aesthetic; it's physiologically felt, and those physical experiences have a real impact on how people live and feel.
The French tradition of heirlooms and multi-generational family property (the care, the continuity, and the sense that a home is worth preserving) sparked a lasting interest in renovation and adaptive reuse. Copenhagen added another dimension: Scandinavian design's commitment to rigorous functionalism and exceptional craftsmanship creates an honesty in both materials and structure, where construction is legible and nothing is hidden for the sake of appearances. Scandinavian design is a testament to the profound sense in which a design philosophy can shape even an entire culture's quality of life.
